The Positions

Fulfillment Associate

Distribution Associate

Job Location: Bolingbrook, IL

Schedules + Pay

Distribution: Monday- Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, starting $17.00/hr

Fulfillment: Tuesday- Friday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, starting $17.00/hr

Fulfillment: Saturday- Monday, 6:00am to 6:30pm, starting $18.50/hr

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 to $18.50 per hour

Essential Functions:

  • Perform all necessary retail fulfillment and distribution warehouse duties

  • Fulfillment duties may include, but are not limited to, picking, packing, putaway, replenishment, and wrapping of merchandise as well as the use of hand-operated equipment.

  • Distribution duties may include, but are not limited to, receiving, processing and shipping of AKIRA inventory

  • Operate scanners/computers related to warehouse operations

  • All other responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Safely operate in a warehouse environment

  • Able to push, pull, lift 50 lbs continuously throughout the shift

  • Be able to receive and give feedback effectively

  • Stand/walk 10 hours a day

  • Solid understanding of safety regulations

  • Basic math and recording abilities

  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. based on needs of the role

The Ideal Candidate Has/Is:

  • Work efficiently as part of a team

  • Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data

  • Excellent organizational skills

Great communication and interpersonal abilities

 At AKIRA, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices. Compensation for this position will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Additional compensation and benefits may also apply and will be discussed during the hiring process.
